WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT DUM-DUM GUN & BULLETS

A Painted Dum-Dum bullet made for the 1988 production of Robert Zemeckis' cartoon and live-action mashup Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.

In the film, Eddie (Bob Hoskins) switches his real gun out for a cartoon one before entering Toontown. Eddie's new oversized gun shoots .38 bullets which are later referred to as "Dum-Dum" bullets. This Dum-Dum bullet served as a real-world reference for animators during the film's post-production process.

Cast in resin, this bullet is painted with a color scheme similar to what appears in the final on-screen design. Dressed like a cowboy, this piece is full of the cartoonish personality the film is known for.
